Do You Qualify?

Public or non-profit healthcare providers are eligible to receive discounted telecommunications services. Eligible healthcare providers must also be located in a rural area and fit into one of the eligible categories determined by the FCC. These categories are:

• Post-secondary educational institutions offering health care instruction, teaching hospitals, and medical schools.
• Community health centers or health centers providing health care to migrants.
• Local health departments or agencies.
• Community mental health centers.
• Not-for-profit hospitals.
• Rural health clinics.
• Consortia of health care providers consisting of rural for-profit hospitals.
• Dedicated emergency departments of rural for-profit hospitals.
• Part-time eligible entities located in facilities that are ineligible.
